Todo sobre la “madre tigre”: un prisma-polígono de la cultura tradicional de la educación familiar de China

Durante los últimos 30 años de reforma y apertura, China se ha dedicado mucho a la modernización de la educación; en cuanto a ésta, siempre figura un tema inevitable: cómo lidiar con las relaciones entre la tradición y la modernización. En 2011, Amy Chua, una china nacida en eu, publicó su libro Himno de batalla de la madre tigre, en que presenta las formas autoritarias en la educación familiar. De repente, este libro levantó una gran polémica sobre las maneras orientales en la educación. Pero muy poca gente presta atención al origen cultural de este fenómeno. Este trabajo, a través de presentar los caracteres de la filosofía de educación, la identidad y posición social de las madres, la cultura de Xiao (?: respeto filial) y el sistema de exámenes (Keju: ??), trata de observar los factores como motivo cultural de los típicos métodos educativos de China y analizar su influencia en la modernización de la educación de China.Abstract:During the past 30 years of reform and opening up, China has devoted much to the modernization of education, and it always contains an inevitable issue: how to deal with the relations between the tradition and the modernization. 2011, Amy Chua, an American born Chinese, published his book Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, which presents its authoritarian ways in the family education. Suddenly, this book arose a great controversy over the eastern ways in education. But very few people pay attention to the cultural origin of this phenomenon. This work by presenting the characters of the philosophy of education, identity and social status of the Chinese mothers, the culture of Xiao (?: filial piety) and the system examinations (keju: ??), is to observe the cultural factors as a reason for China’s traditional educational methods and analyze their influence on the modernization of education in China.Downloads
